This 50th anniversary version is the most faithful reproduction ever, even down to the foot holes made for the original doll stand!
- Brunette Bubble Cut Barbie -
The 1962 Bubble Cut Barbie doll wore a red jersey one-piece swimsuit. The new short, tight hairstyle was available in ten different colors. This 50th anniversary version models the brunette hair tone.
- Twist n' Turn Barbie -
The 1967 Twist 'n Turn Barbie® doll celebrated the mod era in a two-piece orange plastic swimsuit which was covered by a white mesh nylon cover-up edged in orange. This doll had longer hair with bangs, blue eyes, and rooted eyelashes. This 50th anniversary version models the rare red hair color.
- Malibu Barbie -
The Malibu Barbie doll, which debuted in 1971, solidified Barbie doll’s image as the quintessential sun-loving, California girl. This 50th anniversary version models a reproduction of the famed aqua blue bathing suit, completed with yellow towel and sunglasses.
- Superstar Barbie -
The Superstar Barbie doll, which debuted in 1977, featured a wide, open-mouthed smile and a softer, friendlier look. Long blond hair is parted to one side. This 50th anniversary version models a glamorous, hot pink satin evening gown, complete with boa.
- Barbie and the Rockers Barbie -
The 1986 Barbie and the Rockers Barbie doll celebrated the new wave era dressed in a hot pink tuxedo jacket and hose, worn with mini skirt and metallic top. This 50th anniversary version models a totally awesome repro ensemble!
